Think about layout
When planning a U-shaped kitchen, consider the practicality of the space. Do you want an ergonomic design that allows you to naturally wander around the space as you cook? Then aim not to put all of your most-used appliances or features on one side, as you might wind up feeling like you’re always on top of yourself and only have limited usable space.
Use a focal point
If possible, incorporate a window or other wall feature into your U-shaped design. Without a strong focal point, your kitchen might feel imbalanced and lost.
