If your wardrobe has taken on a bit of a life of its own, you may want to start with a clear out. But there are many ways to go about doing this, and you want to get it right – so before you start browsing all the new clothes that you want to add to it like this Superdry menswear from EJ Menswear, you will have to do the hard part!

The first thing that you will need to do is to empty out every item of clothing that you own from your wardrobe. You will need to be hard on yourself here and really critical. If you have clothes that you are hanging onto for sentimental reasons, but haven’t worn for years and probably won’t again, it is time to get rid of them.

Clothes that you haven’t worn for longer than a year should also be evicted from your wardrobe. If you have lots of very similar items, you may also want to consider getting rid of some of these too. The aim here is to create a wardrobe in which everything is regularly worn and can be combined with other items to create a range of outfits.
