You have a lot more to do as a student than clean your Exeter Student Homes. It is rarely, if at all, the right time to clean. Living in a cave with your housemates is fun, but it can only last so long. There are hacks that can make cleaning chores easier. You don’t need any cleaning equipment. Let’s get started:
Cola in the toilet
It may seem like a waste, but you can either buy some toilet cleaner or use the last of your soda. The cola will fizz up and leave you with a shiny, clean toilet pan that smells great!
Milk bottle dustpan

Lemons for the kettle
Put lemons in your kettle when life hands you some! Bring a little water and a few lemons to a boil, and your kettle will be descaled in no time.
Inky Mess
Ink leaking from pens? You can easily clean up the mess with some hairspray.
Vinegar in a microwave
Put a bowl with water and a few tablespoons of vinegar inside your microwave and heat on high for two minutes, until the water is steaming and boiling. You now have a clean microwave without having to scrub!
Baby wipes are not only for babies!
You’re about to be surprised if you haven’t yet discovered the wonders of baby wipes. Baby wipes can clean some things really well. Use them to clean white appliances, oven hobs and coffee stains.
Why wash?
You’re out of laundry detergent? Don’t panic. Place your jeans in the freezer for a few hours to freshen them up!
