Getting a hold of your health in your 30s

Our 30s is a time when we start to think about settling down, perhaps getting married and starting a family and it is also the period in our life when we start to think about all the things we did in our late teens and twenties that we need to try and make up for now. Most of these involve habits that we may have started such as smoking or drinking a little too much and choices we made that perhaps we wouldn’t make a second time around.

If you are thinking of starting a family you might want to consider trying using a Home STI kits Bexley company to get you both checked for any STIs before you embark on trying to conceive.

Here are some other ways you can get control of your health in your 30s.

  • Quit smoking – especially if a family is something you are thinking of.
  • Cut down on the amount of alcohol that you drink and don’t go out for binge drinking sessions.

  • Get some exercise each day. Even if this is a yoga session at home or just a short walk around the block. Something is better than nothing.
  • Eat healthily – everything in moderation is the best diet, but if you are looking to lose some weight you might want to follow a specific diet plan to achieve this – but always do this in a safe way.
