The Police, Ambulance and Fire brigade, our three emergency services.

We have three incredibly dedicated Emergency Services in the United Kingdom in the Police, Ambulance and Fire brigade.  These wonderful and free emergency response teams can be summoned directly by any member of the public. The Police are responsible for law enforcement and deal with all criminal investigations. The lifesaving paramedics that come with the ambulance service respond to emergency medical calls and technical rescues. The brave men and women of the Fire brigade respond to blazing fires and often deal with road accidents and dangerous oil spills. They are responsible for making sure these spills are thoroughly cleaned up and the road is safe to travel again using lots of complex equipment including essential Spill Kits supplied by a company like hydepark-environmental.com/spill-response/spill-kits

All three emergency services have a dedicated free phone number (999) that anybody and everybody can call and easily get through to the particular service they need. This number is specifically for emergencies only and there are several other numbers that can be called for non-emergency situations. These numbers are, Call 101, to report crimes that are not an emergency, while ringing 111 is for non-urgent medical conditions or when you just need some advice on a health issue.

Only phone the 999-emergency number in a genuine emergency, getting the right phone number in the right situation is of vital importance and could end up not only saving your life but the life of someone who is in desperate need of an emergency response.
